This was just a very basic revision of geometry terminology. Since geometry is unfortunately neglected across the nation and across the curriculum too, I have designed just a concept brushing, easy going test.


Today we will discuss some questions which are a mix of basic arithmetic and basic reasoning ability

  2. My friend said I have a one acre plot. Seeing me confused he elaborated, it is nearly 45,000 sq ft. Was she right ?

  3. I went shopping and saw an item labelled 2000/-. I also read it had a discount of 10% for the festive season and an additional 10% discount on that purchase as it was their Foundation day. I paid 1600/-. Was I right ?

  4. A purchased one thing in 100/-. He sold it to B for 125/-, who sold it to C for 150/-. Who made more profit A or B ? Why ? Or both made the same profit ?

  5. Five men can complete a work in eight days. Three more men join them, in how many days the work will be over ?

  6. What is the next number in 1, 4, 9, 16, - ?

  7. I can go from Indore to Bhopal by car, bus, train, plane, cycle. However, I cannot come back by plane as the time does not suit me. In how many way can I do Indore - Bhopal - Indore ?


The objective behind designing this You know maths worksheets series is help you recall basics of mathematics till standard 10th. Hope you are liking it. If you are stuck at some question, please go a head and come back to it later.


Most probably, after worksheet 5, I will initiate writing one core maths concept / day, along with a short revisory test.

The role of experience In the behaviour school of psychology, who treat, observe, measure only the behavioural aspects, modification in behaviour is considered learning. For example, if you are training your dog to get the ball back, it does it, it has learnt what it means to get the ball back.
